Chris Collins – Sick with a phobia

I am in no doubt about it now – there is a serious malady afflicting a lot of people in social media. I’m introducing a new word and I’m hoping it sticks.

Vaxophobia.

A phobia (a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it) of vaccines or vaccination. And this applies not just to personal aversion – that is not wanting anything to do with it personally like getting the flu shot yourself – but a general aversion being pressed onto others to spread it. And unfortunately it is proving somewhat contagious!

This can’t be ignored any longer. No one wants to fight this malady. They let it overwhelm them. And this entry isn’t about Patient Zero. I don’t think there is a Patient Zero. But this idiot, Chris Collins, is definitely afflicted. He resides presently in Thailand but travels a lot presumably throughout South East Asia.

On Friday on Twitter on my political account I reflected the following;

* And no proof is provided by @CollChris – not just with this but no link to FDA’s claim that vaccines cause Autism. It DOESN’T! #vaccineswork

That was after I re-tweeted my own tweet from a week earlier, calling on him to prove that the entire “bank” (for want of a better word) that the Vaccine Court relies on for payouts comes from a $2 tax on each vaccine. That was in reply to my remark that the Court of Federal Claims (same thing) pays out using money provided by the pharmaceutical companies – which is true and correct.

Collins decided to totally ignore it and state;

* Go fishing, Flip. If your #BigPharma handlers ask, we’ll say you’ve been around. We’ll vouch.

What a coward! Totally afraid of being proved wrong! And that wasn’t the only one!

* Ingested not same as injected, body can rid high % of toxins if inhaled drank ate. Stay clear of all mercury, Pacific tuna. NO #vaccineswork

There is nothing wrong with eating any fish! Tuna, salmon etc etc! And he has no idea that ingesting and injecting have the SAME result in the end when it comes to vitamins, minerals and other body benefits! And I noted as well that I wasn’t the only one he was fumbling for truth with!

* You misunderstand. Patient pays for the ‘service’ (the Vx) as well as the damage. #BigPharma has indemnity, can’t sue ’em for faulty product
* National Vaccine Injury Comp Program or VICP was started in 1986. Each paid-for Vx has surcharge (.75c) funding it. #BigPharma doesn’t lose.

These were both in reply to Heidi Wilson, who incorrectly stated that there was no Vaccine Court (I corrected her on Twitter about that) but otherwise told him rightly that the number of people being harmed by not being vaccinated was “huge”. Note also that he changed the tax from $2 to 75 cents, which means that he lied about the tax even existing I reckon!

Then there was this fabrication;

They make NOTHING on vaccines. All pharmaceutical profits come from other products like pills. The numbers he is quoting there is revenue from the government subsidies being put in the make vaccines affordable. It proves he DOESN’T read reports – at best he skims them or doesn’t understand what he is reading. That was in reply to Nicole telling him she wasn’t debating him anymore and IDed him as an anti vaxxer with autistic kids. I don’t know if he has kids on the Spectrum or not.

Now next down we have a tweet that shows he has no idea how money matters even work in government!

* ACA is a tax. Supreme Court was right. The objective there was wealth transfer – they take ours.

The ACA is the Affordable Care Act, which if it worked the same way as Medicare in Australia, is NOT applied to products! It’s levied through the IRS! Hence the ID of “tax” even though I don’t agree. And the low amount would explain why it never worked, and we can blame the Republicans for that. I don’t know where the Supreme Court came into it, but the pharmaceutical companies made NOTHING from Obamacara AKA the ACA. NOT ONE JOT!!

Now get a load of this drivel!

It proves no such thing! The Vaccine Court has a low threshold on proof, a threshold that would never EVER stand up in a proper court of law! The legal cover is not absolute and vaccines DO work! That was in reply to Kevin Pho calling on money to be spent on Autism support and not conspiracy theories. Absolutely right!

That’s enough to prove that this guy is totally irrationally terrified of vaccines and tries to lie about them whichever way he can. I’d feel sorry for him, except that his rhetoric is a direct threat to children in his family, and an indirect threat to children in his community – especially in a tropical partially impoverished country like Thailand.

A batch of idiots on Twitter

While using my political account to support California’s SB18 proposal and jumping on it’s detractors, the cow manure hit the fan resulting in another addition to the AV Name Check and some already on it jumping in as well – including a couple I had already blocked.

The new addition is Chris Collins, who presently resides in tourist mode from what I can gather in Chiang Rai in Thailand. The man is totally deluded, making obviously bogus claims such as;

* FDA says there’s a vaccine link to autism
* Chance of flu shot working’s like betting on a horse at 1/10 odds & you don’t know what race it’s in.
* Vaccines are not safe. Epidemic proof is 1 in 50 getting autism.
* Hygiene sanitation sewage control heating refridge did it, not Vx. Again decline in diseases occurred BEFORE vaccine intro.
* Polio outbreak in 40s 50s ended w/ DDT ban in 70s.
* Yet body’s natural defenses rid toxins up to 98% if ingested. Vaccines bypass defenses go straight into organs.
* Yet as we learned from Dr. Neides’ letter the vaccine w/o mercury (thimerosal) still has formaldehyde – linked to cancer.
* Heavy metals mercury alum formaldehyde too add up.

Each and every one of those remarks is rubbish. The FDA said no such thing, the flu vaccine works and not getting it can be lethal (and I can talk through experience on that one!), vaccines have nothing to do with Autism – it’s been 1 in 50 since the beginning of time, decline in PREVALENCE of disease did NOT happen because of clean water, Polio was already under control because of vaccines before DDT was banned, the body’s natural defences need to be improved by vaccines and there is no difference between ingestion and injection at the end point (Sabin would not have worked if that was true!), formaldehyde is found in pears and is safe, and there are no heavy metals in vaccines – ethyl mercury (not pure mercury) is a diluted derivative. With an atomic number of 12, aluminium is NOT a heavy metal.

The two who got involved that I had already blocked were Charisse Burchett and Lucas Kelly AKA Brett Smith of Peter Tiernan controversy “fame”. Here first of all is Butchett’s BS across the last few days;

* I learnt everything important in my life outside educational institutions

* Measles has killed nobody in last 10 years – the MMR has killed 110 people. MMR more risky
* Hilarious – but Dr Bradstreet was doing wonders and she still called him a quack even after his muder.
* his page says against bullying but……he uses bully stalker tactics. Defaming and bullying innocent people.
* He is an adult autistic against bullying but he uses bullying tactics himself. HUge diservice to autism community
* Autistic adults like Philip Gluyas, Fiona Petit and Emma Dalmayne are encouraging bullying

There is no death toll associated with Merck that matches any airline that would be out of business, there is no proof that there have been more than 33,000 deaths at the hands of Vioxx, vaccines have eliminated many diseases, she learned how to read, write, comprehend and calculate after high school (yeah right), kids may be sicker but that’s a lifestyle issue, cognitive dissonance is a common catch cry for anti vaxxers, there is no proof that aluminium is responsible for anything, vaccines have been fully tested at least in Australia and she has no proof of any fraud, the measles has killed 2 children in the UK alone since 2006 and there has been at least one adult death in the US, whereas the MMR has killed no one, and Bradstreet committed suicide to avoid the law locking him up for illegal medical practices and drug use.

The last three, with the last one naming me – are about me. I have to bully to counter bullies – there is no other way to do that. I have defamed no one, and every person I have bullied is a bully and not innocent in any way shape or form. I am doing a huge service to the Autistic community because I am slamming down the notion that vaccines cause Autism. The claim harms the community and it has to stop because it is creating hate and fear that holds us back from achieving our full potential.

Kelly was briefer but just as stupid with these;

The only one of those wasn’t aimed at me and that was the second one. But it’s pertinent, because he calls me a coward and yet he doesn’t post (either on Facebook or Twitter or his website that he referenced) under his real name. I do on FB and Twitter and I have a website in my name as well. His claim that he knows “my truth” is actual more Nazi like that the AV Name Check because it’s a blatant threat as such. He is still yet to apologise to Peter Tiernan as far as I know.

And then there was Meryl Dorey, under her No Compulsory Vaccination account on Twitter;

* Wakefield is 1 of the most powerful men in the world. His every word is reported (unfairly) & he is so well loved for his ethics and caring!
* Not the first-Brisbane-based autist made a similar list 10 years ago.
* No matter where you look, the science is settled. VACCINES DO NOT WORK! In fact, they make populations sicker than infectious diseases did!
* Philip-it is obvious that you have never done 1 single bit of research on this topic. Very sad!
* I see where you’re coming from. Everything we see w/our eyes-WRONG! But if a bought MD says it-GOSPEL!

Wakefield is FAR from powerful and it has to stay that way because he is a liar and a charlatan with no ethics or a caring bone in his body! Vaccines DO work, and any sickness is caused by poor lifestyle as previously mentioned – science (real science) says that! I did respond to some of these pointing out that I had done the research and that is how I knew she was lying! Anti vaxxers always lie and I haven’t spoken to a bought doctor yet! I also confronted her about the New South Wales Fair Trading investigation and she ignored that one totally – of course. Hiding are we still in the US of A, Merpyl? What does interest me though is this other list from ten years ago. I may follow up on that, although it may well be a lie.

There have been others as well but this will do for a start. Bottom line – this BS is the reason why I have the list and why I intend to take action based in the FACT that these people are inciting child neglect by lying about vaccines, with a possible additional angle that popped up in the last 48 hours.
